Napoleon Hill was a renowned American author and one of the pioneers of modern personal-success literature. Born in Virginia in 1883, Hill became widely recognized for his ideas on achievement, ambition, mindset, and financial success. A major turning point came in 1908 when he interviewed industrialist Andrew Carnegie, whose philosophy strongly influenced Hill’s work. Through years of research and study, Hill developed principles of achievement that later became the foundation of his famous book Think and Grow Rich, one of the bestselling personal-development books of all time. He also authored The Law of Success in Sixteen Lessons and advised President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Hill passed away in 1970 at the age of 87.
